2. Read 1 Corinthians 12.
- Discuss how diversity in spiritual gifts brings unity to a church to build God’s Kingdom.
- What is your spiritual gift and are you using it to build God’s kingdom?
3. Why do some people feel they are “not needed”?
- How do we as Christians help others overcome that feeling?
4. Read 1 Corinthians 12:8-11 and 1 Corinthians 12:29-30.
- What are some differences of the spiritual gifts mentioned by Paul that God provided for the early churches, as compared to the spiritual gifts provided by God for the churches today?
- In verse 1 Corinthians 12:11, what is the one and only timeless source of our spiritual gifts?
- Discuss God’s purpose of His early church and His church today. Is it any different?
5. Read 1 Corinthians 12:31.
- What does Paul mean about “eagerly desire the greater gifts”?
